No. 5 NFL wide receiver corps, New Orleans Saints

  • Michael Thomas
  • Jarvis Landry
  • Chris Olave

There’s a chance the Saints could have the most explosive offense in the NFC South. Jameis Winston has a chance to continue what he started before an injury derailed his 2021 season.

With Alvin Kamara out, the Saints will rely heavily on the passing game — they have the weapons. It starts with Michael Thomas, who, when healthy, is a top three wide receiver. He’s looking to get back to greatness, lead the league in catches, and make a Pro Bowl, maybe even an All-Pro.

He’ll take all the eyes and coverage away from his running mates as he mans the outside. Helping Thomas will be one of the best slot receivers in the NFL, Jarvis Landry.

Mickey Loomis brought in another Pro Bowl wideout from the Browns to do damage in the slot. Landry is a reliable option for an offense with Winston as the man under center. He’s an easy target for Winston as a short area target.

If that’s not enough, rookie Chris Olave is an Odell Beckham-like wideout. He’ll line up opposite Thomas on the outside and threaten the top of defenses. He’s a smooth route-runner capable of making big plays as a rookie.

Tre’Quan Smith rounds out the top four targets. He’s a former third-round pick who managed 377-yards and three touchdowns over 11 games. These wideouts will carry the offense and Winston into the playoffs.
