No. 2 NFL wide receiver corps, Miami Dolphins

  • Tyreek Hill
  • Jaylen Waddle
  • Cedrick Wilson

Chris Grier warmed his way back into the good graces of Miami Dolphins fans. The GM shocked the NFL by trading for arguably the fastest player in the league, Tyreek Hill. He also dipped into free agency and grabbed Cedrick Wilson.

In case you forgot, the Dolphins had one of the best rookie wideouts last season in Jaylen Waddle. The former Alabama speedster proved he’s more than a deep threat as he became the volume target for the Dolphins — he finished the 2020 season with 104 receptions.

New head coach Mike McDaniel has some toys to play with.

Hill will dominate after the catch and downfield with McDaniels spacing offense. He’ll also open up the offense and clear out for Waddle. The second-year pro will probably see more plays in space and downfield, especially off play action.

Wilson will do what he does best as a third option who can make plays after the catch as well.

So it comes down to Tua Tagovailoa, one of the NFL’s most polarizing quarterbacks. Not only does Tua have the second-best wide room in the NFL, but he also has one of the league’s best tight ends, Mike Gesicki.

The former No. 5 pick has high expectations and the weapons around him to ensure he’s successful. Will he finally live up to the hype? We shall see.
