Could we see the Cleveland Browns make a deal with the New York Giants before the trade deadline? If so, here are 3 players who could be on the move.

With training camp just around the corner, NFL teams will be constantly evaluating their talent and the talent available on other rosters.

Each preseason there are some well-known players who move teams. This offseason has already seen two former first-round picks on the move.

It’s no secret that the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants have room to improve their rosters. Here are a few players who would improve their new team immediately.

#1 Kadarius Toney to the Cleveland Browns

Cleveland has retooled its wide receiver corps this offseason. Adding Amari Cooper, Jakeem Grant, and Javon Wims helps to replace the 114 catches lost with Jarvis Landry, Rashad Higgins, and Austin Hooper, who all bolted.

Granted Donovan Peoples-Jones has a lot of hype surrounding his physical attributes, but he has yet to translate this into on-field success.

Moving to Jacoby Brissett won’t help the potency of this offense either. In short, Cleveland will need to get creative on offense.

Here is where Kadarius Toney can help. If New York loses a few early season games and they want to stockpile some 2023 draft picks I can see Toney being available for the right price.

Toney also hasn’t unlocked his full potential yet in the league (spending half of last season on the shelf injured.)

The New York market is not kind to high-profile players who take time to develop. A change of scenery could be exactly what he needs.

When Healthy, Toney has a unique skill set. He can run jet sweeps, has a large route tree, and has thrown a few passes in the past. All of this could help Cleveland as they seek creative ways to move the football.
