We all know the big-name wide receivers ready to shine in the 2022 NFL season. What about the other guys looking to breakout?

With a league focused on passing, the wide receiver position is the glamour position of the NFL.

Stars were born last season led by Cooper Kupp. There were also players like Mike Williams, Ja’Marr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, Diontae Johnson, Hunter Renfrow, and Michael Pitman — to name a few.

Everyone is looking for that next guy. Thus, the free agent market was wild in the 2022 NFL offseason.

Jaguars WR (13) Christian Kirk pulls in a pass during the Jacksonville Jaguars Organized Team Activity session at TIAA Bank Field Monday, May 23, 2022.Jki 052322 Jaguarsota 05 /

Christian Kirk got the bag from the Jacksonville Jaguars, setting the market for all wide receivers. He’s now the poster child for the Jags, who need a No. 1 wideout for Trevor Lawrence.

Kirk will understandably go into the 2022 NFL season with a chip on his shoulder, given all the hate he received after getting paid, but he didn’t make this list.

He’s a speedster who played with one of the better quarterbacks in the league. Even then, he failed to rack up 1,000 yards.

Marquise Brown went from Lamar Jackson to Kyler Murray, but he won’t have DeAndre Hopkins to take the pressure off him.

He’ll have a good season, but he didn’t make this list. AJ Brown is an Eagle in an offense where he’ll be the No. 1 option again, like the Titans, the Eagles are a run-first team.

He had a down 2021 season as well with Jalen Hurts as his quarterback, but he’s still growing as a passer, so he’ll likely have a better season, but not a breakout year.
