Breakout NFL WR no. 4: DeVante Parker, New England Patriots

Miami Dolphins fans will roll their eyes and feel sick at the thought of Devante Parker being on the list. If he balls out, Fins fans won’t be surprised.

After all, he’s shown that he can be the No. 1 option. The issue with Parker was his health. In seven years, Parker has never played 16 games once in his career. That was in 2019, where he finished with 72 catches for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns.

Since then, he’s played 14, 11, and 10 games. A fresh start in New England will see Parker live up to his skill-set.

Parker dominates with athleticism and deep ball prowess. His leaping ability is second to none. When the ball is in the air and downfield, he’ll make the catch.

Mac Jones will benefit from Parker’s catch radius and aggressive high-point nature. Despite the uncertainty with New England’s offensive play calling, one can expect the Pats to lean on their running game.

Play action will play a major role in the Patriots’ offense — that’s when Parker will eat. He’s the perfect fit for an offensive looking to open up the playbook for a young quarterback.

Parker could end the season with 78-80 catches, over 1,000 yards, and eight touchdowns.
