1. Allen Robinson, Los Angeles Rams
The reigning, defending Super Bowl champs will come into the 2022 FL season looking to repeat.
Thanks to Matt Stafford, the Rams have a signal-caller they can count on. Stafford won’t have one of his No. 2 in Odell Beckham.
The former Ram sustained an injury in the Super Bowl — he hasn’t re-signed, but they have a great replacement. In fact, the Rams may have had one of the better free agent signings of the off-season with Allen Robinson.
The former Bears wide receiver has a chip on his shoulder, and he signed with the Rams to prove he’s elite.
Robinson was vastly under-used with the Bears last season — he also suffered from injuries. If he’s healthy, he should dominate in year one as a Ram.
He also doesn’t have to worry about double coverage, considering he’s playing alongside the great Cooper Kupp.
Stafford played with guys like Robinson before, a big-bodies wideout with long arms that allowed him to make plays on the boundary.
He proved he’s a volume target, catching 98 and 102 passes in two of his four seasons as a Chicago Bear.
Stafford will throw the ball 600 times, expect Robinson to be on the receiving end of 100 with 1,200 yards and 10-plus touchdowns.
