What I like about Steelers NFL playoffs chances:

Defense still is king in the steel city. In the past 12 months, they have signed both TJ Watt and Minkah Fitzpatrick to long-term big-money deals to ensure this stays the status quo.

Rushing the passer has been their strong suit for the past few seasons. They have led the league in sacks for the past five years. If they can get better play in the secondary this defense will be hard to beat.

On the offensive side, Najee Harris is looking like a very versatile running back and Dionte Johnson and Chase Claypool is an above-average pairing.

Areas of Concern:
What does this offense look like in the post-Big Ben era? Quarterback play is a big concern here. Can Mitch be the guy or do we start to see people clamoring for Kenny Pickett sooner than later?

The offensive line is below average as well. They will need to improve in order for the offense to move the ball effectively.

Key Games:  They start the year on the road in Cincinnati and then a week 2 home game with New England. These two games will tell us exactly who the Steelers are.

My Prediction: 8-9
