What I Like:

Coaching – The Patriot way is still the law of the land under Bill Belicheck. While the success hasn’t been the same as in years past, there won’t be much deviation from the standard here. Even with the roster’s shortcomings, you will face a well-prepared team.

They made some decent moves this offseason to combat both their lack of offensive firepower and the losses sustained in free agency.

Replacing N’Keal Harry with Devante Parker will be a positive move for this offense, and the focus will stay in the backfield on the running game with Damien Harris and Rhamondre Stevenson.

The defense filled a couple of holes too, adding S Jabrill Peppers and LB Mack Wilson.

Areas of Concern:

Exchanging J.C. Jackson for Malcolm Butler is a net loss. Losing Ted Karras and Shaq Mason and replacing them with rookie Cole Strange is risky too.

Key Games:

New England’s schedule is manageable, but the final 7 games will be trying. 4 primetime games in a row starting Thanksgiving night @ Minnesota will give us a good look at how far they can go. The Pats get the Bills at home in Week 13 on Thursday Night Football and close out the year with Divisional matchups: home vs Miami in week 17, and @ Buffalo in week 18.
