NFL Playoffs 2022: Buffalo Bills 11.5 o-130/u+115

What I Like:

This offense is about as good as it gets in the NFL right now. Adding G Roger Saffold is a huge upgrade to the offensive line. Signing WR Jameson Crowder might fly under the radar, but when healthy, he is a talented slot receiver and will have his chance to make an impact.

As will another free agent pickup, TE OJ Howard.  The Bills made upgrading the defensive line a priority this offseason too. Bringing in Tim Settle, DaQuan Jones, Jordan Phillips, Shaq Lawson, and of course adding Von Miller will help ease some of the stress on the secondary and linebacker play.

Areas of Concern:

Defensively the Bills’ Achilles heel was stopping the run. Revamping the Defensive line may help, but this will need to change if they want to take the next step and make the Super Bowl.  Linebacker play must get better.

Key Games:

The Bills get six prime-time games this season including the NFL Kickoff Game at the Super Bowl Champion LA Rams. Week 2 the Bills’ home opener is a MNF game vs the Tennessee Titans.

Thanksgiving @ the Detroit Lions is winnable and should be a statement game. An early Bye week (Week 7) leads to a long end of the year with 4 of 6 divisional games between weeks 13 & 18. They will need to play their best football late to secure another division title in 2022.

My Prediction: 12-5
