NFL rookie #3: Drake London, WR, Falcons

The 2022 draft class featured a slew of receivers for teams to choose from. While recent classes have had a lot of quality receiving talent, this past draft had arguably three top receivers that should become quality players sooner than later in their careers.

While Drake London is a talented prospect, he, like Walker, will be closely linked to the other players at their position moving forward.

London enters a wide-open Falcons receiving room. Outside of Kyle Pitts, there is no better receiving option than London right now. He should be able to produce quickly (if he doesn’t, that bust label will be all over him), but will he stand apart from his other receiving prospects?

Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson both could have been the top receiver taken. Even Jameson Williams could have been argued as the top receiver prospect until he suffered an injury.

If the other options take off early and London struggles, the bust label will be tossed around quickly with him. London needs to look dominant early on to justify himself being the top receiver taken.

Even if he isn’t the best of the rookies, he needs to produce similar to them in order to hold his own and avoid the bust label.
