Aaron Rodgers, the back-to-back NFL MVP, made quite the entrance at Green Bay Packers camp, showing up looking just like Nicolas Cage in Con Air.

Aaron Rodgers, the back-to-back NFL MVP, has been described by the Packers’ president as a “complicated fella”.

As “complicated” or interesting as Rodgers may be, you can’t deny that the guy has a specific brand of humor.

Rodgers is as dry as they come, so seeing him show up to Green Bay Packers training camp looking identical to Nicolas Cage in Con Air has the entire internet in stitches.

It’s really an outstanding job by Rodgers, duplicating the look to absolute perfection.

Last year at this time, everything with Rodgers and the Packers was extremely tense. Nobody knew what the future would hold for Rodgers or the Packers but now, Rodgers’ bank account is overflowing and even though Davante Adams is not there, Rodgers doesn’t seem to be in bad spirits.

Quite the opposite, in fact.

An outstanding start to camp for Rodgers, to be certain.

The back-to-back NFL MVP is obviously coming off of a season that was both phenomenal and massively disappointing.

The Packers were way too good throughout the regular season to be such a letdown during the playoffs, and Rodgers is going to be at the forefront of all sorts of criticism.

This getup as he arrives to camp is an indicator that he has over $150 million reasons not to care about what anyone thinks.

Nearing the end of his NFL career, Rodgers is simply “bearing” the weight of his massive talent.

He has the worst “help” I think he’s ever had in his NFL career in terms of the supporting cast general manager Brian Gutekunst has put around him offensively.

At this stage of Rodgers’ career, we’re going to see just how valuable the MVP really is to his offense. He’s going to have to elevate the level of play of the guys around him like never before.

It appears as though he’s more than ready to do that.
