With a new regime in place, the Chicago Bears are in the midst of another rebuild. General manager Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus are showing the players that changes are the only consistency they’ll see at training camp.

As we know, the Chicago Bears are starting another rebuild. General manager Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy were booted. In their place, the team hired Ryan Poles as the general manager and Matt Eberflus as the head coach.

The Bears have had a number of rebuilds over the course of the last decade or so. Poles and Eberflus are the latest in a long line of people tasked with trying to turn things around. What will they do to show that things are different with them?

Well, early on it is evident that Poles and company are doing things differently. One of the problems with Pace was his attempts at hitting home runs via free agency and the draft.

He went after players who were popular with the fans but didn’t work out. Additionally, he tried so hard to find diamonds in the rough through the draft that he ended up reaching to find that special player.

Things are different with Poles. He has a plan in place for a successful rebuild. He was a part of the group that rebuilt the Kansas City Chiefs from a floundering franchise to a consistent Super Bowl contender.

Both the players and the fans will notice that things are changing. Poles and company are doing things differently. This might end up being exactly what the franchise needs to be a consistent winner.

The only consistency with the new regime is change. Let’s take a look.
