Most overrated player on every NFL team in the 2022 season

Washington Commanders: Carson Wentz, QB
Frank Reich and Carson Wentz had some great times together in Philadelphia. In 2017, they were on their way to a division title as Wentz was playing at an MVP level. Then, the quarterback tore his ACL and was out for the year.
The Eagles won the Super Bowl without him that year and while they still elected to extend him, it wasn’t long before he was reunited with Reich. Now the coach of the Indianapolis Colts, Reich brought in Wentz and the reunion lasted just one season.
Wentz, who struggled in the final two games as Indy fell short of the postseason, was traded to the Washington Commanders — who believe he will be the one to turn things around for them. The problem is, Wentz has proven more than once that caution should be exercised with him.
Sure, he has the talent to be a star but something is off. Whether it’s a lack of calm in the clutch, or maybe just an inability to be a team leader, there’s just something that hasn’t worked. And since his departure from the Colts, the comments have been telling.
Team owner Jim Irsay said the Wentz era was “a mistake.” If that’s not bad enough, even Reich seemed to throw in the towel as he apologized for lobbying for Wentz.
Sure, the Commanders aren’t the first team to try and catch lightning in a bottle with a former top pick. But teams usually do so by signing a player to a low-price deal in free agency.
Washington took a different route as they surrendered draft picks and will pay Wentz more than $28 million this season despite the huge red flags coming out of Indianapolis.
