Buffalo Bills: Jamison Crowder, WR

Jamison Crowder signed with the Buffalo Bills for roughly $2 million which isn’t a huge contract in today’s NFL by any means. He’s also just the No. 3 guy on the receiving chart behind Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis, which means he’s not likely to be the focal point of the offense.

Having said that, the Bills don’t really have a lot of players who are really overrated at this point, so Crowder basically earns this distinction by default.

A decent slot receiver, Crowder has 409 receptions for 4,607 yards with 28 touchdowns in his seven-year career. The problem is, that those numbers might be a bit deceiving.

Crowder benefited from playing on some terrible offenses as a member of the Washington Commanders organization from 2015 through 2018. Then, he signed with the New York Jets in 2019, spending the past three seasons with them.

His best year as a pro was either 2016 when he had 67 receptions for 847 yards and seven touchdowns for Washington or 2019 when he had 78 catches for 833 yards and six scores for the Jets.

However, with each team, his numbers dipped the more they improved around him. That will likely be the case once again in 2022 since Buffalo has so many mouths to feed.
