Best NFL matchup on ESPN no. 4: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders

One of the biggest games on the Monday Night Football primetime schedule will be Week 5 at Arrowhead when the Las Vegas Raiders play perhaps the most dominant team in the AFC West Kansas City Chiefs. This is one of those classic contents featuring two of the best from the old days of the AFL.

The MNF traveling roadshow will be one of the four best primetime games on the ESPN schedule in 2022. It’s a throwaway kind of game that will bring to mind quarterbacks like Len Dawson of the Chiefs and Raider legend Daryl Lamonica.

For rank and file football fans, it’s simply a ‘must-see’ game.

Both AFC West rivals will be looking to get the upper hand early in the season. As posturing begins inside the division, a fast start is critical. The Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, Raiders, and Chiefs are all in the running for not just the playoffs, but also the Super Bowl.

Week two for both teams will show why the West may have one of the best shots at a championship and lifting the Lombardi Trophy at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. It will also showcase two quarterbacks who could win an MVP award at season’s end.

Monday Night Football on ESPN will be an absolute ratings winner in Week 5.
