Best NFL matchup on ESPN no. 1: Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The ESPN roadshow closes out their 2022 schedule with a potential preview of an NFC championship game, as Aikman, Buck, and company travel to what could be a frosty Cincinnati, as the Buffalo Bills take on the Bengals.

The Queen City, once a likely ‘W’ for any team playing the Bengals, is now ground zero for excellence in the NFL. Quarterback Joe Burrow has shown to be the real deal, and head coach Zac Taylor has turned it around to make Cincinnati a contender.

The Bills have the proven Josh Allen taking snaps for a team who is Super Bowl-ready in 2022. This edition in Buffalo has fans remembering the heyday of the team when they were a four-time participant on Super Sunday.

Unfortunately, their four consecutive appearances resulted in four straight losses.

In the simplest of terms, the American Football Conference is the best in the NFL. At one time not so long ago, it was the NFC and teams like the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants who owned the league. The sun has set on that as the AFC now has all the teams fans keep their eyes on.

ESPN has a bounty of riches on their Monday Night schedule. The Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals will close it out for the 2022 NFL season.

While much will be answered by January 2, plenty of questions will still remain. The team lifting the Lombardi Trophy chief among them.
