NFL breakout receiver no. 3: Skyy Moore, Kansas City Chiefs

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 3. WR. Chiefs. Skyy Moore. player. 124

I’m going to be honest. I viewed Moore as primarily a “special teams” guy coming out of Western Michigan this past Spring when the Draft was going down, but like any talented skill player that goes to Kansas City, I can’t help but think he’s in a terrific-enough situation to break out.

Small guys who are deep threats seem to have success in KC these days. Tyreek Hill comparisons will naturally occur, even though Hill is a much more gifted player. The Chiefs lost a big piece of their team this offseason in Tyreek Hill, but is it crazy to think they may have found a younger version of him in Skyy Moore? I don’t believe so.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling is “iiiiiiight.”

Mecole Hardman is “iiiiight.”

JuJu Smith-Schuster has already proven in Pittsburgh he cannot live up to number one receiver expectations, unfortunately.

I expect them all to get elevated by Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes in some way, but if there’s one guy in this receiving core that I’d want to bet on breaking out this year, it would have to be Skyy Moore.
