Back to the receiving game we go in Round 11 with George Pickens of the Steelers. Pickens had the makings of a day one pick early in his career with Georgia but a knee injury messed things up for him. He was fortunate to land with Pittsburgh though, where they just seem to find one receiver after another.

Pickens was solid in his preseason debut with 43 yards and a touchdown on three receptions. We have seen other rookies blow up in the preseason only to disappear when the games count, so expectations should be tempered. Still, Pickens has a high ceiling.

After Pickens joins our club, there’s a huge run on tight ends with three in a row being selected. None of these names are elite but they could be solid value picks this late if you were against the Mark Andrews pick so early.
