In Round 12, there’s a good mix of selections. Some teams started to grab defense here with some of the better units coming off the board in Baltimore and San Francisco. The Packers also go, and they’re also a solid defense even if they don’t get talked about enough.

With a few options available, we pick up J.D. McKissic from Washington. He’s not an every-week player but he’s someone who could get a lot of passes out of the backfield and for that reason, he’s worth a flier late.

Raheem Mostert also gets picked in the round and he’s an intriguing prospect. He has the talent to be a star but injuries have kept him out of action for much of his career. Now, he joins Miami where he knows head coach Mike McDaniel well but is going to have to compete with Sony Michel and Chase Edmonds. Still worth a shot, but don’t be surprised if he doesn’t finish as a top back.
