Fantasy Football Mock Draft 2022: Round 4

  • Team 12: Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos
  • Team 11: David Montgomery, RB, Chicago Bears
  • Team 10: A.J. Brown, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
  • Team 9: Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets
  • *Team 8: Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills
  • Team 7: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Dallas Cowboys
  • Team 6: Darren Waller, TE, Las Vegas Raiders
  • Team 5: Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Commanders
  • Team 4: Josh Jacobs, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
  • Team 3: Antonio Gibson, RB, Washington Commanders
  • Team 2: Mike Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers
  • Team 1: Dalton Schultz, TE, Dallas Cowboys

Some might think Round 4 is too early to go for a quarterback, and there is some truth that there’s plenty of value later in the draft at the position. But then again, visored Josh Allen is just too impressive to pass on.

Allen was one of the quarterbacks with the most questions in the 2018 NFL Draft and now, he’s arguably the best of that class. He threw for 4,407 yards with 36 touchdowns last season and adds a ton of value as a runner.

He’s never rushed for fewer than six touchdowns — which he had in 2021 but also went for 763 yards — and averages 5.5 yards per attempt. Throw in the disappointment he suffered in the 2021 playoffs and he’s going to be even more motivated to go off this season.

One interesting note is how far Ezekiel Elliott fell in this mock. Round 4 is late for someone who was recently a hot No. 1 pick. But that shows how much the Dallas Cowboys are expected to use Tony Pollard this season.
