Anytime we think we know what the Green Bay Packers are doing, we find out that we don’t know what they’re doing.
This year, they traded Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders, which leaves the No. 1 receiver spot open. Allen Lazard could end up in that role, and he’s the pick to kick off Round 8. He’s followed by JuJu Smith-Schuster who could have a career resurgence in Kansas City.
After two more receivers come off the board, we switch it up and take A.J. Dillon — also from Green Bay. As a sophomore, Dillon put up 803 yards and five touchdowns on the ground as well as 34 receptions for 313 yards and two more touchdowns through the air.
He should continue to get looks, even with Aaron Jones, and could be in line for another big season.
