Daryl Williams, OT: Las Vegas Raiders

Have I mentioned how desperately the Las Vegas Raiders need to upgrade their offensive line? There’s no question about it — this team is poised to look back on the 2022 season as a “what could have been?” type of situation just because of how bad the offensive line is. It’s a problem.

Alex Leatherwood is not the answer at the right tackle position at this point in time. Daryl Williams may not be either, but he started every game he played for the Buffalo Bills the last two seasons and there’s at least some value in that durability. He also received a pretty decent grade from Pro Football Focus last season on over 1,100 snaps.

Sheldon Richardson, DL: Denver Broncos

Over the course of the preseason, it’s becoming abundantly clear that the Denver Broncos need some help along the defensive line. There are a handful of veteran players available that could help them, including Sheldon Richardson, a former first-round pick of the New York Jets.

Richardson has remained productive despite sort of bouncing around the league the last handful of years. He is also a former teammate of Russell Wilson’s with the Seattle Seahawks and was once signed by the Minnesota Vikings in free agency. Broncos general manager George Paton was with the Vikings when they signed Richardson so there is some history there.
