Super Bowl LVII is still nearly six months away but we can still look ahead and see what 10 matchups we would like to see close out the 2022 NFL Season. With the preseason behind us, it’s time to look ahead to the 2022 NFL Season, or maybe even beyond that.
The goal for all 32 teams is the same every year — to win it all. Of course, 31 teams fail that objective, but that’s life in competitive sports. Many fans don’t get to see their team win it all, but they too still enjoy watching a solid contest in the Super Bowl.
As for Super Bowl LVII, here are 10 matchups that could bring the most excitement.

10. Miami Dolphins vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Just before the preseason began, the league announced sanctions against the Miami Dolphins for tampering allegations. Among other things, the findings concluded they tried to bring Tom Brady to South Beach but spoke with him while he was still under contract with the New England Patriots — and then did so again in 2021.
Miami lost a first-round pick in 2023 and a third-round pick in 2024. Majority owner Stephen Ross is also banned until Oct. 17, was fined $1.5 million, and can no longer serve on committees.
On top of all this, they have to deal with the fact that Tua Tagovailoa once again has people questioning the team’s commitment to him. The good news for him is that he has the tools in front of him to succeed with Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and Cedrick Wilson in a loaded offense.
If he can put it all together, he can silence all the doubters. And what better way for him to do so than to knock off an in-state rival, who happens to feature Brady under center? The storylines for this one would write themselves.
