8. Cincinnati Bengals vs. Los Angeles Rams

It might not have gone down as one of the greatest Super Bowls matchups of all time, but the showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI was a great contest.

Cincinnati came from nowhere to make it to the playoffs then knocked off some of the best teams in the AFC en route to the big game. They took out the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wild Card Round before sending the No. 1 seed Tennessee Titans home in the Divisional Round. After that, they secured a come-from-behind win over the favored Kansas City Chiefs.

Once they faced off with the high-powered Rams offense, they again showed no signs of being intimidated. Joe Burrow threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to Tee Higgins to start the third quarter, and give his team the lead. An Evan McPherson field goal put them up 20-13 but L.A. fought back.

Matthew Stafford followed up a Matt Gay field goal with a one-yard touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp with just 1:25 to play. Burrow and the Cincinnati offense were unable to come back as Aaron Donald couldn’t be blocked by their suspect line.

Now with a revamped line and all their key players back, it would be fun to see them get another shot at the Rams, who are also as strong as they were a year ago. There would also be more heat following a brawl between the teams in a recent joint practice where Donald was seen swinging Bengals helmets around.
