10 Super Bowl matchups we want to see in the 2022 NFL season

4. Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Rams
At first glance, a showdown between the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams might not sound too exciting, but it very well could be. The Rams enter this season as the defending champions after finally getting over the hump last year.
In order to do so, they gave up a couple of high draft picks as well as their former starting quarterback, Jared Goff, in order to bring in Matthew Stafford. The veteran quarterback ended up taking their offense to the next level, and in the end, they won it all.
Fast forward to this offseason and Denver made a similar move. Despite having a strong defense, they continued to underperform — as they’re still trying to get back into the playoffs following their Super Bowl win after the 2015 season. In an effort to get back to the big game, they sent a couple of high draft picks as well as quarterback Drew Lock and tight end Noah Fant to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Russell Wilson.
Wilson joins the Broncos with a Super Bowl ring — one he won against Denver — so his story isn’t the same as Stafford, who came from the Lions who have never won a title. Still, it would be interesting to see two quarterbacks who were added in blockbuster trades square off in Super Bowl LVII.
