NFL Week 1 bold predictions for Detroit Lions vs. Philadelphia Eagles

50. . 1:00 PM ET. 0. 54. . 0. Sunday, Sept. 11

If they aren’t already the Philadelphia Eagles should be your pick as the NFC East champions. It still isn’t unreasonable to expect that the Detroit Lions and head coach Dan Campbell put up a fight. But even with the second pick overall, defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, coming after Jalen Hurts he is being protected by one of the best offensive lines in the league.

Jalen Hurts won’t get sacked and will score 4 passing/rushing touchdowns.

Dan Campbell will have to inspire his troops are this one as the margin of victory won’t be slim.

NFL Week 1 bold predictions for Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts

46. . 1:00 PM ET. 10. . Sunday, Sept. 11. 0. 0

This is a less than satisfying division match-up for Week 1. The Texans have recently entered the spotlight with rookie running back Dameon Pierce but it won’t be enough to change the tides for their duel with the Colts.

Texans quarterback Davis Mills will get sacked/hit at least 8 times against the Colts.

New import Yannick Ngakoue sharing the defensive line with Colts veteran DeForest Buckner will wreak havoc against the Texan’s offensive line and Davis Mills will feel it. The second-year passer will not get the ball out quick enough to be effective against the Colts’ crushing defense and they will start the season 0-1.
