NFL Week 1 bold predictions for Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers

0. 60. 4:25 PM ET. . Sunday Sept. 11. 0. 49.

If any of the readers follow me on Twitter or have read the previous predictions article it’s clear I’ve seen Week 1 going in favor of the Minnesota Vikings. The victory isn’t limited to Week 1 but the Vikings will eventually take over as “Kings of the North.”

However, in this NFC North Week 1 grudge match this bold prediction lands in favor of the “Cheeseheads.” For the most part.

The Packers defense dominates the Vikings offense, which is good because the Packers offense cannot get going.”

The Packers will have to rely heavily on Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon (The AJ’s) because the gang of rookie and aging veteran receivers can’t get open. The Packers’ defense will bail them out however as Kirk Cousins won’t be able to connect with star Justin Jefferson and running back Dalvin Cook gets swallowed up. The Packers’ defense is so beefy this season that it’s really hard to point out a specific weakness in that 11-man unit. The Packers offense will have to rally soon but defensive coordinator Joe Barry helps Aaron Rodgers out on this one.

Go Pack Go.
