4. Kirk Cousins, QB, Minnesota Vikings
Wins are often counted as a stat for a quarterback, and Kirk Cousins is a .500 guy. However, since departing from the Washington Commanders back when they weren’t the Commanders, Cousins has done nothing but put up elite numbers. What happened to the Commanders since then? They’re still searching for a quarterback, but the Minnesota Vikings are good. For all the bad that comes with Kirk Cousins, he’s found a way to dominate through the air. He doesn’t turn the ball over. In fact, 13 is the most interceptions he’s thrown. Even if he does, he’s still in the 2-to-1 ratio when he does.
As a passer, he’d be one of the best in the league in terms of yards, touchdowns, and completion percentage. Since joining the Vikings, Cousins has thrown 124 touchdowns to just 36 interceptions. He did it under a defensive-minded head coach Mike Zimmer. He’s also had several offensive play callers like Gary Kubiak, Kevin Stefanski, and Klint Kubiak. Cousins and his wideouts have a special connection. And it doesn’t hurt that he has one of the best young wide receivers in the NFL in Justin Jefferson. This season could be the year Cousins win his division — maybe they’d respect him then.
