In my previous sports betting article, I went over the best bets you could make for the 2022 NFL season in the AFC including the Dolphins and Ravens’ win total, Russell Wilson‘s passing touchdowns, and more! As I mentioned before, betting the futures market can be one of the most profitable strategies since sportsbooks do not have data yet to precisely calibrate their lines. As a rule of thumb, you want to be careful with your bet size on future bets, as this money will be locked up until early January.

In this article, I will highlight three of my favorite bets that you can make on teams in the NFC, with two being win totals and one being a player prop. However, I will also mention any additional bets I made on those teams along with their respective unit size.

In 2021, Garner Hasler and the Bookie Busters Podcast profited over 50 units in the NFL and over 145 units across all sports. While this article highlights his favorite bets of the week, his full card can be found on all major podcast platforms.

NFL bets: Philadelphia Eagles over 9.5 wins

Philadelphia Eagles Over 9.5 Wins -130 . 1. Scouting Report. 1.3u to win 1u. . player. 54. Pick Analysis

  • Much improved receiver core
  • One of the NFL’s best offensive lines
  • Strong all across defense
  • Second easiest strength of schedule

Last year the Philadelphia Eagles slipped into the playoffs at 9-8 only to be quickly disposed of in the first round. Taking a quick look at their 2022 roster it becomes clear that this team has arguably the best roster in the league outside of quarterback. They had one of the best offensive lines last year, which allowed them to control games with their run game and limit Jalen Hurts’ mistakes.

Their defensive front and secondary also should be among the best in the league, especially with the potential of first-round pick Jordan Davis. Finally, after years of failed picks, they have secured a solid receiving core in Devonta Smith and AJ Brown.

However, the biggest case for taking this bet is the ease of the Eagles’ schedule this year. They have the second easiest strength of schedule, including six divisional games against a weak NFC East. This Eagles team is built for taking down bad teams with their run game and strength at the line on both sides of the football. With that being said, I love taking the Eagles over 9.5 wins in the 2022 season even with the -130 juice.
