6 NFL offensive rookies with the most to prove this season

Drake London’s expectations are sky high
It is no secret that this rookie receiver class was stacked in terms of overall talent. While many will argue who the best pure talent was, the Falcons opted to make Drake London the first receiver off the board. His combination of size and the ability to win deep could certainly make him the best receiver from this class, but he has a lot to prove.
The receivers taken after him all could have claimed that top spot and no one would have batted an eye. London could very well have a good year, but if another name taken shortly after him shines, people are going to question the pick. The Falcons had their choice at receiver when they were on the board, and they felt that London was hands down the best option.
Add in the lack of receiving threats currently on the Falcons roster and there is a lot riding on the rookie early in his career. He has gotten off to a good start, but he can’t slow down now that he is the featured receiving threat in this offense. London is a good prospect, but he has to look like the best receiver in this class sooner rather than later.
