2. Josh Allen scores five touchdowns against Titans

After losing in one of the most heartbreaking ways during the playoffs a year ago, the Buffalo Bills came out in the season opener and looked beyond focused. They were on the road against the Los Angeles Rams, who were the defending NFL champions, but they were the aggressors from the start.

Allen threw for 297 yards with three touchdowns and added 56 yards on the ground with another score. Throughout the night, he was hitting wide-open players and showed no fear when taking off with the ball and running all over the L.A. defense.

This resulted in a 31-10 win for Buffalo but it should have been even more lopsided. The Bills left points on the field as Allen had two interceptions while Zack Moss and James Cook each lost a fumble.

This week, the Bills should be able to play a cleaner game which is terrible news for the Tennessee Titans who travel to Western New York on Sunday. Tennessee is looking to shrug off a frustrating loss as they surrendered a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter to lose to — Brian Daboll, the former Bills offensive coordinator — and the New York Giants.

Struggling to stop the Giants’ offense in the final minutes isn’t an ideal way to prepare for arguably the best offense in the NFL. That’s why Allen should have a field day as he entertains the home fans with five total touchdowns on the day.
