Bears offense will struggle against the Packers after a big upset win in Week 1

Pick Analysis. 1u to win 1u. player. Scouting Report. . Bears Team Total Under 15.5 +100 . 3. 57

  • Good price with Bears flukey Week 1 win
  • Packers defense actually solid despite loss
  • Don’t want to lay points with Packers

Two of the biggest surprises of Week 1 were the Chicago Bears upsetting the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings easily dismantling the Green Bay Packers. While some may be quick to think the Bears have a fighting chance against their rival, I believe they will be completely shut down in a statement game from the Packers’ defense. In Week 1 the Bears actually put up the least amount of yards of any team with 204 and heavily benefited from a monsoon hitting Chicago at the right time.

On the other hand, Green Bay’s offense looked like it suffered from the loss of Davante Adams, and you could see Rodgers visibly upset with his new receiving core. With that being said, you could make the case that the Green Bay defense holding the Vikings to only 23 points with their offense doing nothing to help is actually a good performance. While I do not want to bet on Green Bay’s offense to get going, as I could see it being a season-long struggle, I do think their defense is going to punish the Bears’ offensive line.

Justin Fields has to go into Lambeau and outduel Rodgers, and I think we are getting a great price on the Bears team total and do not think they find the end zone more than once in Week 2.
