Winless NFL Team #2:  Las Vegas Raiders, Record (0-2)

New faces on offense have not helped the Raiders make positive strides this season. Mick Lombardi’s squad has struggled, even with their latest acquisition. Rekindling a connection with his college quarterback has become the focus for Davante Adams. His ten receptions and 147 yards receiving against the Chargers in week one impressed fans but were not enough to capture a win on the road.

Protecting the football has cost Las Vegas games in consecutive weeks. A pair of interceptions cost Las Vegas the game in week one. Carr’s response to a sloppy first game helped the Raiders in their efforts to defeat the Cardinals the following week. A fumble in overtime cost Josh McDaniels’ team another victory – losing in OT 29-23.

The first win of the season is pivotal for the Raiders, and it could come this week. A winless record cannot carry Las Vegas into the playoffs – especially in a heated division. Incorporating Josh Jacobs into the offense should help Las Vegas outscore the Tennessee Titans this week. His 126 rushing yards in the first two games left fans desiring more.
