4. Saints at Panthers

Another divisional game is highlighted as the 0-2 Carolina Panthers host the 1-1 New Orleans Saints on Sunday. New Orleans is favored by three points and they have the more impressive offense with Jameis Winton and Alvin Kamara, even though both are questionable.

As for the Panthers, they have some big names on offense with Baker Mayfield, D.J. Moore, Christian McCaffrey, and Robbie Anderson. However, they managed 24 points against the Browns in a Week 1 loss primarily due to some defensive communication issues that left Anderson wide open. They then put up just 16 points on the New York Giants who are 2-0 but haven’t been lighting the world on fire with their play.

With all that being said, there are serious injury concerns for New Orleans as well as the fact that Winston struggled with three picks in the last game, making him shaky even if he does play. Carolina, on the other hand, is relatively healthy and they’ve got their backs up against the wall.

Two narrow losses sting but they’ve been in each game so far and could pull one out, especially being at home. The all-time series between the two teams has New Orleans in the lead 29-26 and Carolina is 13-14 at home against their rivals. It’s a close series that could go either way, which is why New Orleans needs to be on their game to avoid a letdown.
