FanDuel NFL Picks, Week 4: Best FanDuel DFS lineup
Putting together the ideal fantasy football lineup with a budget is certainly not an exact science, but we’re here to help inform your decisions ahead of Week 4 of the 2022 NFL season as much as possible. NFL fans are getting treated to some must-see games on Sunday and there’s absolutely no question that, up to this point, the season itself has been one of the best in recent memory. As you get to putting together your FanDuel DFS lineups for Sunday, which players have the best matchups?
Utilizing the standard $60,000 budget, let’s take a look through some matchups, potential stacks, and an ultimate lineup projection for Week 4.
FanDuel DFS NFL Week 4 picks and lineup advice: Quarterback
As far as Week 4 DFS plays go, this week’s quarterback group is extremely top-heavy. That can make for perhaps a very easy decision or maybe make it even tougher than normal. One of the best matchups of the entire week features two of the leading candidates for MVP so far this season in Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen ($8,900) facing off against Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson ($8,800). Needless to say, these are the two highest-priced QBs of the week and for good reason.
Allen gets the nod as QB1 in DFS this week thanks to the seemingly porous Baltimore Ravens pass defense. Jackson has a tougher matchup defensively going up against Buffalo, but they are also banged up in the secondary.
Behind those two superstars you have Jalen Hurts ($8,600) who has a matchup this week against the upstart Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense. At the third-highest price tag of the week, I would say buyer beware here. Jacksonville’s star rookie linebacker Devin Lloyd just won AFC rookie of the month and will be hunting Hurts in this one.
Justin Herbert ($8,000) going up against Houston is not a play I would make this week given the concerns of the Los Angeles offensive line and Herbert’s own rib cartilage injury. One of the best bargains of the week, however, could be Lions QB Jared Goff ($7,600) facing off against Seattle in Detroit. Even with Amon-Ra St. Brown’s health in question, Goff has weapons to spread the ball to. If St. Brown is cleared for this game, Goff might be a must-play if you want to conserve your budget for other position groups.
