2022 NFL Power Rankings Week 5: Cowboys crack top-10, Browns spiral downward

28. Pittsburgh Steelers
It’s been ugly this season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike Tomlin has never finished with a losing record but that could change this year. A loss to the New York Jets dropped them to 1-3 on the season and they’re 0-2 at home.
The loss of T.J. Watt has really hurt this defense but a bigger problem has come from their play under center. Mitch Trubisky has been rough and finally got pulled in favor of rookie Kenny Pickett. The first-year player never had a pass hit the ground as he was 10-of-13 for 120 yards but had three interceptions.
He did, however, run two touchdowns with the second putting them up 20-10 but the defense couldn’t hold. Whether or not they turn things around will hinge on how Pickett does going forward.
27. Las Vegas Raiders
Josh McDaniels got his first win as the Las Vegas Raiders head coach, and he did it against the franchise he ruined the last time he was a head coach. McDaniels is now 1-3 but the talent on the team suggests they should be better.
They did at least avoid an 0-4 start as Josh Jacobs went off for 144 yards and two touchdowns, while the team as a whole had 212 yards on the ground. Derek Carr didn’t do much but he also didn’t turn it over which was all he needed to do in this one.
Defensively, Maxx Crosby had two sacks as they did just enough to secure the victory.
