2023 NFL Mock Draft: C.J. Stroud back at No. 1
By Randy Gurzi
14. Seattle Seahawks: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky
Geno Smith has been much better than expected for the Seattle Seahawks this season — and has looked infinitely better than Russell Wilson which is a huge shock. He might not be willing to give up the starting job just yet but the Seahawks could still look to add a player to challenge him — since Smith has never been able to hold a job for long.
Will Levis ends up being their selection at No. 14 as they groom the Penn State transfer who now starts for Kentucky. Levis is an interesting prospect that some aren’t sold on, and it’s easy to see why. He doesn’t blow you away with any trait but he’s done enough to give someone hope he can be developed.
15. Arizona Cardinals: Isaiah Foskey, EDGE, Notre Dame
The Arizona Cardinals need to generate a pass rush as they enter Week 5 with just four sacks, two of which belong to J.J. Watt who is long in the tooth and often injured. They need some youth on the edge, which is why they use their pick in Round 1 on Isaiah Foskey from Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-4, 257-pounder had 10 sacks for the Irish last season and has added three more in the first four games he’s played this year. Arizona has depended on veterans long enough and can use some new blood in this department.
