New York Jets (3-2) at Green Bay Packers (3-2)

Sunday, October 16, 1:00 PM ET

Well then, how about the New York Jets so far this season? The Jets have won two straight games after getting their first win earlier in the season in miraculous comeback fashion with Joe Flacco at the helm. That feels like a lifetime ago at this point, doesn’t it?

Zach Wilson has been back the last two weeks, and the Jets just got themselves a huge win over the Miami Dolphins who were not only down Tua Tagovailoa but also lost Teddy Bridgewater during the game as well. The Jets took advantage with a decisive 40-17 victory and Robert Saleh has this team playing with some serious confidence.

But the Jets’ most recent win wasn’t about Zach Wilson. It was all about Breece Hall. Hall had 100 yards receiving on just two receptions and added 97 yards as a runner with a touchdown. Hall’s big-time breakout performance could be crucial for the Jets moving forward, especially with a road matchup going up against the Packers who will be jet-lagged coming back from a terrible loss to the New York Giants.

The Packers only have two losses so far this season, but there are serious concerns with this team that have been called out by everyone all throughout the course of the 2022 offseason. Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have a go-to weapon in the passing game with Davante Adams in Las Vegas and that becomes a clearer issue by the week.

The Packers’ offense had 0 second-half points against the Giants in their international debut. We’ll see if players like Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs can step up over the course of the season but right now, the Packers have some major concerns in that area. Despite all of that, I’m not calling the Jets on the road in Green Bay just yet, but the Jets might give them a serious fight.

Prediction: Packers win 24-21
