The Chicago Bears travel to take on the Dallas Cowboys flying high after surprisingly blowing out the New England Patriots last week. Here is what to expect.

The Chicago Bears finally got their first road win of the season last week. In fact, it was a surprising blowout at Foxborough. They went into the game as huge underdogs. However, after blowing an early 10-point lead, they got back up and scored 23 straight points.

This week, the Bears stay on the road. They travel to face the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas has an excellent pass rush so whatever worked last week may be put to the test this week. They rank second in points allowed, sixth in total yards allowed, and fifth in turnovers.

Despite the 33 points and nearly 400 yards of offense last week, the Bears offense still ranks 24th in points scored, 28th in total yards, and 24th in turnovers.

This will be a tough matchup for Chicago. They have trouble being consistent in their play. They’ll have one good game and then look completely different the next week (or more). Having a similar game to last week will be difficult, but not impossible.

Last week the Bears dominated in all three aspects of the game (offense, defense, and special teams). They need a similar effort (if not greater) against the Cowboys.

Just like the Patriots last week, the Cowboys have their starting quarterback returning from an injury. Dak Prescott returned last week after recovering from a broken finger. He still has to get the cobwebs out so that could help the Bears. It will be a tough matchup, however.

Despite the struggles by the Bears this season (they have a 3-4 record and just snapped a three-game losing streak) they are having a pretty good season. No, they aren’t a contender. However, many analysts gave this team filled with subpar players only three wins all season. Well, they are already there with 10 games still remaining. They will likely surpass the low bar those so-called “experts” predicted.

Here is what to watch for in the Chicago Bears matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.
