The Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns provide the nation with the perfect uniform battle on Halloween night.

The Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns are about to square off on Monday Night Football, which this year happens to be Halloween.

Couldn’t there be a better matchup than these two with their uniform colors and the day this match falls upon? Just take a look. Cincinnati has orange, black, and white, the three colors symbolic of All Hallow’s Eve. Cleveland has brown, the color of one of the most excellent parts of our life. Chocolate.

Candy and costumes? Who can beat that? Even Bill Belichick is a fan of the holiday, as Randy Moss would say. But this day just feels right because of the two teams that play on the national stage and the colors that come with it.

The Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals are the right teams to play Monday Night Football on Halloween.

Going into this matchup, Cleveland has the home-field advantage but sits at 2-5. The offseason has been less than kind to them, stemming from the Deshaun Watson trade and the repercussions that came with that. Still, a win on Monday Night football could help them, at least if nothing more than a win over the rivals and keeping their perfect record against Joe Burrow intact.

Speaking of Burrow, the Bengals are 4-3 and entered this season as the reigning AFC Champions and could have easily been the defending league champions. That said, the team is without all-pro Ja’Marr Chase for the next several weeks, meaning Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd will be heavily relied upon, as is Joe Mixon. But, as stated before, Burrow has never beaten the Browns, and what better way to exercise those ghosts than on the night the ghosts come out to play?

This may be one of those nights where anything can happen, and it’s possible we may see another Myles Garrett reaper sighting. But, if anything can be agreed upon, the uniform colors for both opponents fit the spirit of Halloween, and for that, the ghosts are most undoubtedly pleased.
