The 2023 offseason might have a ton of movement with quarterbacks again. There are several big names who could be on the move.  The 2022 offseason was truly special for the quarterbacks.  There was a ton of movement at this position, and there were a ton of trades overall.

I think we can see similar things happen in 2023 as teams try and accelerate their rebuilding processes.  Instant gratification is taking over the NFL.  Even first-year head coaches have their teams at or near the top of their divisions.

Gone are the days of multi-year rebuilds, in my opinion.  Teams have been more willing to part with draft picks and hand over massive contracts for players.  Given the free agent market and potential trades, which quarterbacks could be on the move for 2023?

Tom Brady

Tom Brady is a free agent at the end of the season, and it doesn’t look like he is going to return to Tampa Bay.  In his third year as a Buccaneer, things have fallen off the rails as bit as his team is 3-5 and can’t stop losing.

It’s a historically bad season for Brady, and to be fair to him, the team has had a ton of devastating injuries.  Perhaps Tom Brady wants to continue his career, and if he does, he’d surely want to go to a team that has most of its pieces in place.

If he indeed wants to continue playing, he surely can’t play for more than a couple of years, right?  Right?  Right????????????????
