2022 NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Jets climb into top 10, Packers, Rams disappear

14. San Francisco 49ers
Adding Christian McCaffrey was costly for the San Francisco 49ers but it’s already paid dividends. In just his second game, he had a touchdown on the ground, through the air, and even threw one to wideout Brandon Aiyuk.
More importantly, they’ve now knocked off the Los Angeles Rams two times and are still within striking distance of the Seattle Seahawks for first place in the NFC West, who they also have a win over.
Considering they lost their starting quarterback in Week 1, the Niners have done a great job staying on course and could wind up being a problem for anyone they happen to face in the postseason should they find a way to make it in.
13. Los Angeles Chargers
Austin Ekeler remains one of the more productive players in the NFL as he had 47 yards and a touchdown on the ground and added seven receptions and another score. The Los Angeles Chargers were without their top receivers as Keenan Allen and Mike Williams missed the game but Ekeler and Joshua Palmer stepped up and helped keep L.A. on track.
They ended up with a 20-17 win this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons and improved to 5-3 on the season. It wasn’t a pretty win but they all count the same. Now, they need to get through a tough stretch that includes San Francisco and a rematch with Kansas City in order to stay in the race for the AFC West.
