2022 NFL picks, score predictions for Week 10
Denver Broncos (3-5) at Tennessee Titans (5-3)
Sunday, November 13, 1:00 PM ET
What are we supposed to make of the Denver Broncos at this point? This team has been one of the league’s worst in terms of offensive output all season, but they will show flashes at times of being a formidable unit. Russell Wilson has not yet been as-advertised coming over from the Seattle Seahawks, and the Broncos’ record of 3-5 going into a Week 9 bye is indicative of a variety of struggles for this team.
- The offensive play-calling and Russell Wilson are not cohesive yet
- The team commits far too many penalties
- Injuries have absolutely devastated the roster
The Broncos were kind of a hot mess in the first half of the season, but they closed out their pre-bye week slate with a win against the Jaguars. It’s something. Going into Week 10, the Broncos have to go on the road and face a tough Tennessee Titans team. The Titans played the Kansas City Chiefs really tough on Sunday night, but couldn’t quite get the job done and part of that has to do with the fact that Malik Willis just really struggled in the second half.
The Titans play hard on defense, they are well-coached under Mike Vrabel, and they are somehow still probably going to the playoffs this year. Without a clear idea of what Ryan Tannehill’s health status will be this week, it’s hard to know exactly what you’re getting from the Titans here but they are a team that can get into some trouble if they have to throw a lot.
This matchup sort of feels like a toss-up regardless if Tannehill plays. The Broncos have lost a lot of close games this season and they have one of the best defenses in the league. I’ll take Russell Wilson, even with all of the Broncos’ struggles in the first half.
Prediction: Broncos win 23-17
