Chicago Bears (3-7) at Atlanta Falcons (4-6)

Sunday, November 20, 1:00 PM ET

If you ordered a matchup between two of the best running quarterbacks in the NFL, this would certainly be among the top 3-5 options here in 2022. Justin Fields and Marcus Mariota have been outstanding running the ball this season and over the last month, it’s possible that nobody in the entire league has been as dynamic individually as Justin Fields when it comes to running from the QB position.

Fields has shown incredible running instincts and speed, torching opposing defenses and literally setting NFL records for rushing yards by a QB in a single game. Unfortunately, as Fields has continued to progress in his overall game, the Bears simply haven’t been able to win outright. They blew a lead to the Detroit Lions this past weekend and Fields threw a pick-six in the process, leading to disappointment. But Chicago fans can see the forest through the trees.

Atlanta is not quite in the same boat. As much as people will want to see the positives of how the offense has progressed this season with Marcus Mariota at the helm, questions over his long-term sustainability in that spot remain, and the Falcons aren’t really in a great position to be able to draft someone high. The offense has been too good for any sort of “tanking” to happen here.

As far as NFL picks are concerned with this particular game, this is truly a toss-up. These two teams are quite similar but I think for my money, I would take the dynamic abilities and upside of Justin Fields lately. The Bears’ offense has been hot. If they can find a way to keep the Falcons under 30, I thin kthey stand a good chance here.

Prediction: Bears win 31-27
