Los Angeles Rams (3-6) at New Orleans Saints (3-7)

Sunday, November 20, 1:00 PM ET

The 3-6 Los Angeles Rams against the 3-7 New Orleans Saints. Nothing says midseason blockbuster quite like this, does it?

If John Wolford is starting again this week for the Rams along with Andy Dalton for the New Orleans Saints, this might be one of the least watchable games of the season. Not to mention, the Rams are almost undoubtedly going to be without Cooper Kupp for a bit of time after the superstar receiver suffered an injury this past weekend that looked scarier than it turned out to be.

Stafford was in concussion protocol this past week so his status for this game is iffy at best, but let’s assume he clears protocol and plays against the Saints. Is that going to be enough for the Rams, especially without Stafford’s safety blanket out there? Who knows? Maybe Kupp will miraculously be back out there on the field for this one.

Either way, I’m not sure it changes much.

Not that the Saints are that good, the Rams have just been horrendous this season. But so have the Saints.

The Saints don’t know who their quarterback of the future will be. Injury issues have continued to mount for Michael Thomas. There has been no consistent production from really anyone in the passing game and week-to-week, how do you know what version of Andy Dalton you’re going to get?

If this turns out to be a defensive battle with two quarterbacks known for their willingness to put the ball in harm’s way, I guess I’m going to take guys like Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald, but this is one of the NFL picks of the week I’m not overly confident about.

Prediction: Rams win 24-21
