Cedrick Wilson

Another wide receiver that would have been a good fit for the Buffalo Bills’ offense was Cedrick Wilson, who previously was with the Dallas Cowboys but signed with the Miami Dolphins in the offseason.

The former sixth-round pick had a career year last season with Dallas where he caught 45 passes for 602 receiving yards and six touchdowns. He also had his best catch rate of 73.8% and only three drops on 61 targets.

This season with Miami, Wilson hasn’t really had a role in this offense with only 14 targets in 11 games due to the dynamic duo that is Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

The Buffalo Bills were unlikely to be an option for Cedrick Wilson at the time because they would not have been in a position to offer the three-year, $22 million contract that Miami did. However, there is no denying that Wilson would solve a lot of issues for the Bills’ offense if Brandon Beane would have been able to figure out a deal.
