The final wide receiver is one that didn’t have much of a role as a wide receiver the past few years but this season has been producing a career year. DeAndre Carter bounced around a few teams during the first few years in the league before playing for the Washington Commanders last season where he had 24 receptions, 296 receiving yards, and three touchdowns.

He would join the Los Angeles Chargers this past offseason and continued to build off that career year to surpass those totals already with 39 receptions for 466 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Similar to the other wide receivers on this list, Carter is a sure-handed wide receiver out of the slot and in the past two years has only three drops total on 97 targets.

Among this group, this was the one wide receiver that likely would have been a player the Bills could have signed to fit within their salary cap and would have significantly improved the offense.

He wasn’t an established player like Jarvis Landry or Juju Smith-Schuster and he certainly would have had to beat out Isaiah McKenzie for the starting job but based on what he has done this year, it seems like he would have done that.
