The third time was the charm for the Buffalo Bills to get their first win within the division this year when they beat the New England Patriots last Thursday night. The defending AFC East champions will be looking to keep their good fortunes going as they play the New York Jets for the second time this year.

The last time these two teams met the Jets would come away with a 20-17 victory at MetLife Stadium. However, since their meeting at the beginning of November plenty has changed for both teams and this week could look very different.

For the Bills, they have cornerback Tre’Davious White back after he returned on Thanksgiving and he is a big boost to the secondary. However, Von Miller suffered a season-ending knee injury and won’t be playing in this game.

In addition to those two notable changes, the Bills should have Spencer Brown and Jordan Poyer back as both were dealing with injuries and were inactive the last time Buffalo played New York. Matt Milano is another player who missed the first meeting but his availability is not a guarantee as he is questionable with a knee injury.

As for the New York Jets, they also had a big change as they made a switch at quarterback by benching Zach Wilson for Mike White. The former fifth-round pick has brought a spark to this offense with two consecutive 300+ passing-yard games. However his last game he did have two interceptions and no touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings.

Final Score Prediction: Buffalo Bills 24, New York Jets 17

The last time these two teams met the Bills had built a 14-3 lead in the second quarter before watching the Jets come back and take the lead late in the fourth quarter. The Buffalo Bills rarely make the same mistake twice under Sean McDermott and it is hard to imagine they let two games slip out of their reach against the same team.

The Buffalo Bills understand what is at stake and that is they control their own destiny and the number one seed in the conference is in their grasp. This matchup will be close likely the entire game due to the fact that the New York Jets have an excellent defense but in the end, Josh Allen is able to do enough to send BillsMafia home happy with a win.
