Chicago Bears take on the Buffalo Bills in a Week 16 matchup
The struggling Chicago Bears host the AFC-leading Buffalo Bills in a game that could be played in the middle of a winter storm. Here is what to watch for.
The Chicago Bears‘ losing tour continues. They have currently lost six consecutive games and 10 of their last 11. They now have a 3-11 record, which is the second-worst in the NFL.
In Week 15, Chicago faced the team with the best record in the league, the Philadelphia Eagles. Things don’t get much easier in Week 16. The Bears face two storms — a winter storm and the Buffalo Bills, owners of the best record in the AFC.
Chicago Bears facing massive test vs. Buffalo Bills in Week 16
The Bills have an offense that the Bears want to have. Buffalo has a balanced attack. The Bills rank eighth in rushing yards and fifth in passing yards. This is what the Bears want to build. They currently have the top rushing attack in the league but the passing ranks last in passing yards.
In addition to trying to slow down the Bills, the Bears have a pending winter storm as well. The wind chill is expected to be below zero on Saturday. It could affect how the game is played.
Both teams are accustomed to facing bad weather since they are located in two cities that regularly have it. Just last week, the Bills played the Miami Dolphins in a snowstorm.
In addition to the temperature, the Bears also have to deal with injuries. The injury bug has been something that Chicago has had to deal with all season. From training camp to this week, different players have gone down.
It’s next man up for the Bears, however. They did a great job of playing the Eagles hard last week. While everyone predicted a blowout, the Bears made a game of it, just falling short, 25-20. They hope to do the same on Saturday, but hopefully, come out with a huge upset.
Here are some things to look out for in the game.
