Cincinnati Bengals

The final team that likely could get Rob Gronkowski to come out of retirement if he wants to return to football is the Cincinnati Bengals. This wouldn’t be a return to play with a former teammate or play for his hometown team but there is plenty of reasons to think this would be a good fit for Rob Gronkowski.

The Bengals have an excellent offense with Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Joe Mixon, and the former first-overall pick at quarterback Joe Burrow. The Bengals do have Hayden Hurst at tight end who has good games but a player like Rob Gronkowski could make this dynamic offense even tougher to slow down.

As for Gronkowski, during the offseason he was asked which quarterback he would want to play with after Tom Brady’s retirement, and the answer was Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow. The Bengals have been one of the best teams in the AFC this year and Rob Gronkowski may be that final player to help them get back to the Super Bowl for the second consecutive year.
